Because the Virtual World is a blank slate that allows participants to create anything they wish, we see a huge potential for new forms of narrative that can be authored and experienced in the virtual domain. We have produced a Story Telling Tower that houses a Warrior’s Journey experience. Not only can a person see and hear scenes from a classic warrior’s life, they can converse with a smart storyteller afterwards in the guise of a historically correct avatar who knows about the history and personal feeling of that warrior. Participants are also invited to create their own Warrior’s Journey stories within the tower.
